Late Breaking News:

Green flag for the All-Star Race is set to fall at 8:14 PM ET and green flag for the All-Star Open is set to fall at 5:38 PM ET. The races will air on Fox Sports 1 (FS1). There is little chance of precipitation affecting today’s race. The high for the day at the track is 80°F with wind speeds up to 9 mph.

Practice and qualifying for the All-Star Race took place on Friday, with Tyler Reddick, Chase Elliott, and Bubba Wallace at the top of the combined speed charts in practice. The qualifying effort included a flying lap and a pit stop challenge, which put Brad Keselowski at the front of the field for the All-Star Race, and Shane van Gisbergen at the front for the Open. Michael McDowell’s crew had the fastest pit stop time, earning them a $100,000 prize for the pit stop challenge.

The heat races for the All-Star Race took place Saturday afternoon, with the first setting up the inside row and the second setting up the outside row, similar to how the Duel Races function for the Daytona 500. Brad Keselowski won the first heat race, with Chastain ad Byron behind, and Christopher Bell won the second heat race, with Logano and Elliott behind.

Kyle Larson has yet to be behind the wheel at North Wilkesboro, as he has been in Indianapolis preparing for the Indy 500. Justin Allgaier practiced and qualified the car on Friday, however it was a DNS yesterday, as they will need to start from the rear due to the expected driver change. Larson will fly from Indianapolis following the practice session at 1 PM.

Kyle Busch was the only Cup Series regular to race in the Truck race yesterday, finishing 9th.
