Late Breaking News:

Green flag for the race is set to fall at 6:27 PM ET. The race will air on Amazon Prime Video. The is a 20% chance of rain around race time. The high for the day at the track is 72°F with wind speeds up to 6 mph.

The only car set to go to the rear is Ross Chastain for a backup car change. There are four open cars set to run the race; Derek Kraus (#44), Josh Bilicki (#66), Jimmie Johnson (#84), and Connor Zilisch (#87).

In practice, Carson Hocevar topped the speed charts, with Gibbs, Allmendinger, Hamlin, and Reddick behind. The fastest Ford was Brad Keselowski in 13th. Ross Chastain had the fastest consecutive ten lap average.

In qualifying, Chase Briscoe took the pole, with Kyle Larson starting on the outside of the front row. Byron, Buescher, and Allmendinger make up the rest of the top five. The top ten starting positions see four Toyotas, four Chevrolets, and two Fords. Ross Chastain wrecked in qualifying and will start last in a backup car, and Carson Hocevar spun during qualifying and will start second to last, but has no damage to his car.

Ross Chastain and Kyle Busch were the Cup Series regulars to race in the Truck Series Friday night, finishing 2nd and 5th respectively. William Byron, Austin Dillon, and Chase Briscoe were the Cup Series regulars to race in the Xfinity Series Saturday afternoon, finishing 1st, 13th, and 23rd respectively.

Kyle Larson will be racing the Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600 “Double”, leaving Indianapolis for Charlotte right after the conclusion of the 500. The Indianapolis 500 will air on FOX, with the green flag set to fall at 12:45 PM ET.
