3 p.m., NASCAR Cup Series: Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway, FS1

Late Breaking News:

Green flag for the race is set to fall at 3:11 PM ET. The race will air on Fox Sports 1 (FS1). The is a 20% chance of rain around the beginning of the race through 10 PM. The high for the day at the track is 75°F.

No cars are set to go to the rear for either inspection or penalties. There are two open cars set to run the race; Burt Myers (#50) and Casey Mears (#66).

Toyota topped the charts in practice, with Bubba Wallace, Christopher Bell, and Denny Hamlin as the top three in the field. Carson Hocevar was next as the fastest Chevy, and Cole Custer was below him as the fastest Ford.

In qualifying, Christopher Bell secured the pole, with Hendrick Motorsports behind. Elliot, Bowman, and Larson make up starting positions two through four. The fastest Ford was Chris Buescher in 6th. Starting in the top ten are four Toyotas, four Chevrolets, and two Fords.

William Byron was the only full time Cup Series driver to run either the Truck or Xfinity races, finishing 14th in the Truck race.
