Race Day Schedule:

3 p.m., NASCAR Cup Series: Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, FS1
Late Breaking News:
Green flag for the race is set to fall at 3:12 PM ET. The race will air on Fox Sports 1 (FS1). The is little risk of weather affecting the race. The high for the day at the track is 78°F.
Erik Jones is the only car to the rear; unapproved adjustments. J.J. Yeley (#44) is the only open car set to run the Cup race.
Toyota topped the speed charts in practice, with Bubba Wallace and Erik Jones in the top spots. The fastest Chevrolet was Kyle Larson at third fastest, and the fastest Ford was Noah Gragson at fourth fastest.
In qualifying, Alex Bowman secured the pole position, with last week’s winner Josh Berry finishing the front row. Bowman and Berry were the fastest Chevy and Ford drivers respectively, and Chase Briscoe was the fastest Toyota, qualifying fourth. Making up the top ten qualifiers are four Fords, and three each of Chevys and Toyotas.
Kyle Larson and Ross Chastain were the only full time Cup drivers to run the Truck series race, finishing first and sixth, respectively. Larson also ran the Xfinity race, but his attempt at the weekend sweep was cut short with a fourth place finish.
